Q. How much does it cost?
A. It is difficult to quote an exact cost because we offer many services and each package is INDIVIDUALLY customized according to the wants, needs, and capabilities of that person.
Q. What services do you offer?
A. Fitness Solutions offer private personal training, semi private training, nutritional counseling, metabolism testing,VO² max testing, massage therapy, Active Release Techniques (ART) soft tissue therapy, kettlebell training and integrated kickboxing.
Q. How can I learn if your program is right for me?
A. The first step is to complete the online personal profile and schedule a consultation. During the consultation you will be given a tour of our private training studio, learn about our INDIVIDUALIZED approach, discuss your exact goals and timelines, and create a customized package that fits your time and financial needs.
Q. Is there a cost for the initial consultation and how long does it take?
A. No, there is not a charge to learn more about our services and to see if our program is right for you. A credit or debit card is required to set up your free consultation in order to schedule a specific time for you. If the consultation is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or there is a no show, your card will be charged $75. If you show to the appointment, you are not obligate to purchase anything and there will be no fees assessed. The initial consultation will take approximately 30 – 45 minutes depending on how many questions you have.
Q. Why do I want an integrated conditioning program?
A. An integrated conditioning program considers each dimension of fitness and offers a combination of flexibility, resistance / movement, and cardio-respiratory conditioning. Most importantly every program is organized to avoid overtraining, boredom and pattern overload (too much of the same thing).
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We accept cash, check, and all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
Q. Are payments due in full?
A. No, we can accommodate a payment plan that fits your needs. If you choose our payment plan, postdated checks or debits are settled up front.
Q. What is Active Release Techniques (ART) soft tissue therapy?
A. ART is a patented, state of the art soft tissue system / movement based massage technique that treats problems with muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and nerves. ART providers are trained to palpate and treat more than 300 muscular and fascial injuries and over 100 nerve entrapments, which often cause numbness and tingling. Q. What conditions can be treated with ART?
A. Headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, shin splints, shoulder pain, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, knee problems, and tennis elbow are just a few of the many conditions that can be resolved quickly and permanently.
Q. How are you different than a gym?
A. Most gym based programs are machine based which locks the body into an isolated, rigid and lab like environment. This is not consistent with how the body moves on a daily basis. Our programs focus on developing neuromuscular efficiency, which means teaching you proper body control in an integrated, flexible and life like environment.
Q. Can a program be designed for me to do in the gym?
A. Yes, we can survey the equipment you have available at your facility and develop an integrated conditioning program that can be updated and progressed every 4-6 weeks.
Q. What type of programs do you offer?
A. We have many programs that will accommodate the needs of each INDIVIDUAL. Weight management is our most popular program, followed by performance enhancement and injury management programs. We can develop comprehensive programs for most goals.
Q. Does Fitness Solutions offer packages and why do I want a package?
A. Yes, we offer an array of packages to fit your time and financial needs. We will customize a package for you based on what you want and need. Also, committing to a package will save you time and money and help you to stay focused and motivated.
Q. Do you accept health insurance for any of your services?
A. No, we are not able to accept insurance for any services we offer.
Q. Can I work exclusively with female trainers?
A. Absolutely; if you prefer to work ONLY with a female, accomodations can be made for you. If you choose a service that is offered by a male staff member only, we will let you know.
Q. Will I work with the same trainer / therapist every session?
A. It is not uncommon for one client to work with several trainers or therapists. This is typically done to accommodate scheduling needs. If you prefer to work with one trainer / therapist, that is OK too. Boy we are so easy to work with :)
Q. Will your Nutrition Solutions program tell me what and when to eat?
A. No, not exactly. Our Nutrition Solutions program was designed to educate about making good choices and providing a plan to follow it through. We will inform you of the best choices to make in order to reach your goals most efficiently...but the choice is still yours.
Q. Do you have locker rooms or child care?
A. No, not at this time. However, we do have designated areas to change and leave your belongings.
Q. If I cancel a session with less than 24 hours will I be charged?
A. Yes, all sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged; this is necessary to protect our schedule and save a designated appointment time for you. Sessions cancelled outside of the 24 hour time frame can be rescheduled free of charge.
Q. My contract has expired; can I still finish my sessions?
A. No, all sessions MUST be completed within the designated time frame determined at the start of your package. There is a grace period for every package to allow for cancellations, vacations, work obligations, etc. Should you know of obligations that will keep you from attending sessions, please let us know at the start of the package so we may accommodate you. Every effort will be made on our end to perform all session before the package expiration date.
Q. I cannot or do not want to finish my package; can someone else complete it or can I get a refund?
A. No, only the signer of the package can complete all sessions purchased before the package expiration date. There are no refunds on any service or package purchased for any reason.
